Dear Friends and Customers, today marks An exciting milestone. As you may know, for over a year now, Murphy’s has been renting the West Parking-lot & 500 SF of our retail space to the Uhaul chain based out of Bend. Because it has been such a success for them, the papers are signed, to sell the property to Uhaul. This starts the next phase, which will be shutting down the Murphy’s Furniture Store. We are planning on doing press releases to announce to the general public towards the end of this month, but wanted to make sure you, our friends & customers, learned this information first. This will allow you to come in and finish off your sets, or get your last little orders in before the public posting. We are looking at a big, daunting project 🙈. Important News for Murphy Furniture’s Customer Family;The Property Murphy’s Furniture Resides on Has Been Sold for Development, into a New Westside U-Haul Hub. After weighing all aspects, Mary & Kathy have decided to Retire Murphy’s Furniture. Our Murphy’s Crew can’t begin to fully express the deep gratitude felt for Our Local Communities' Business & Support. Working with Our Customers, Over These Past Fifty Years has been an absolute privilege. During the Month of April, Murphy’s Furniture Will Continue to Be Open 7 Days a Week from 9 to 5. In Mid- May, Murphy’s Furniture Will Be Open Friday Thru Monday, Closed Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Watch Social Media for updates, we will also Text & Email Customers of Record with news “as we go along”. As of now, the store will permanently close the end of June (unless we run out of furniture before 😉) Murphy’s has access to all customers’ purchase information from 2012 - 2024.
